7th to 8th January 2010 Daqing, Heilongjiang province

　　The fifth session of the third Council of CWTA was held in Daqing city, Heilongjiang province. The following reports were approved by CWTA council: ‘Report on the work of China Wool Textile Association in 2009’, ‘Financial report of CWTA in 2009’, ‘Submission on expert committee of CWTA’. ‘Report on the work of raw wool commission’ by raw wool commission, introductions on work of blanket commission and fake fur commission were approved during the assembly. The change of directors and new applying member were also approved.

　　January 2010

　　CWTA attended Heimtextil in Germany and MAISON & OBJET in Paris to collect the trend of blanket, fake fur industry for members.

　　19th March, 2010 Cixi, Zhejiang province

　　‘2010 China National Fake Fur industry development conference and the 1st session of the 1st fake fur commission’ was organized by CWTA, co-organized by CWTA fake fur commission and Cixi fake fur association, and supported by Ningbo Datong Textile Printing & Dyeing Co, Ltd. The conference held in Cixi had over 200 fake fur manufacturing companies attending. As the first nationwide event in fake fur industry, it focused on the upgrade of fake fur technology and healthy development.

　　CWTA visited industrial clusters in Hebei, Jiangsu provinces and made several surveys.  Mails of industry survey were also sent to industrial clusters in Zhejiang, Guangdong, Ningxia, Shandong province. CWTA received 12 reports from those regions.

　　13th April 2010 Shanghai

　　‘National technology seminar on energy saving, dyeing and finishing of wool textile industry’ was held. There were over 120 delegates from over 70 companies and/or organization in 10 provinces attending the seminar. A various of technical issues were discussed such as stabilized application, economic and environmental innovation and equipments. The delegates visited the 10th exhibition of international dyes and textile chemicals after the seminar.

　　CWTA President Peng Yanli as the head of delegation led China participants to attend the 79th IWTO congress in Paris.

　　May 2010 Qinghe, Hebei province

　　CWTA and the Qinghe County People's Government organized the 1st China Qinghe cashmere yarn Fair.

　　16th July, 2010 Lianyungang, Jiangsu province

　　‘2010 National Blanket development Conference and the 2nd Session of Blanket professional commission’ was organized by CWTA in partnership with CWTA blanket commission, while co-organized by Lianyungang Yingyou Group. The transaction of growth mode, and a group of in-depth issues concerning macro situation, domestic and export market, techniques and innovation were discussed during the conference. Over 200 delegates attended the conference.

　　Mid-July 2010 Wushenqi, Inner Mongolia

　　CWTA in associate with Nanjing Wool market organized the‘2nd China Raw Wool forum’ in Wushenqi, inner Mongolia, which is the primary growing region of Chinese fine wool. The forum promoted the connections between the manufacturing and agricultural industry. A serious of wool information exchange session contributed to smooth wool trade.

　　July 2010

　　CWTA organized the nationwide event of quality assessment and recommendation on high-quality wool knitting garments. There were 253 eligible product samples from 72 companies nationwide. Product of Excellence was awarded to 62 wool knitting products. Product of Fineness was awarded to 81 products. The awards of best design this year were given to 13 products, and also the awards of best design in small item clothing to 7 products.

　　CWTA co-organized the 17th Cashmere and hair products Expo.

　　4th September, 2010 Yinchuan, Ningxia autonomous region

　　CWTA and Ningxia Bureau of Textile Industry organized the ‘3rd China Ningxia International Cashmere Industry Summit’.

　　17th September, 2010 Beijing

　　In associate with China Textile Machinery Association and National Engineering Research Centre for New Material in Wool Textile, CWTA held the ‘2010 China Qingfeng Innovative Semi-Worsted Techniques Seminar’. As a session in the ‘22nd International Wool Trade Fair & Information Conference’, this conference not only focused on the semi-worsted techniques, but also awarded winning prominent paperwork. There was also a show of innovative semi-worsted products and equipments.

　　16th to 17th September, 2010 Beijing

　　The  ‘22nd International Wool Trade Fair & Information Conference’ was organized by CWTA, China SDIC International Trade Co., Ltd and  Michelle International Limited, and co-organized by Nanjing Wool Market in Beijing. The theme of this conference was ‘Fabulous information, dynamic wool’. A host of sessions like ‘Wool and products showcase’, ‘2nd Wool Summit’ and ‘Preparatory meeting of China-Australian wool working group’ greatly enriched the conference itself while acted as a complicated platform of communication and display for domestic and international companies.

　　CWTA organized the nationwide event of quality assessment and recommendation on high-quality wool fabrics. There were 118 eligible product samples from 27 companies nationwide. Product of Excellence was awarded to 30 worsted products, 9 woolen or woolen/worsted blended products. Product of Fineness was awarded to 41 worsted products, 17 woolen or woolen/worsted blended products. The awards of best design were given to 3 products, and also the awards of technical innovation to 3 products.

　　September 2010 Yinchuan, Ningxia autonomous region

　　CWTA, China Fashion designer Association and Lingwu Municipal People's Government jointly organized ‘2010 China (Lingwu) Cashmere Fashion Design Competition’ successfully.

　　October 2010 Dalang, Guangdong province

　　CWTA and the Donguan Municipal People's Government organized the 9th China (Dalang) International Woolen Knitwear Fair, CWTA displayed the wool knitting products of excellence and of fineness nationwide.

　　17th to 18th December Suqian, Jiangsu province

　　The fourth CWTA membership assembly and the first session of the fourth Council of CWTA were held in Suqian, Jiangsu province. President Peng Yanli presented to the assembly the report on the work of the third director council.
